This year we got to Rising Sun Saturday afternoon and had plenty of time to walk around and see everything. We were amazed at how many flowers there are around town, and you can tell that they all really care about how their houses and town look.
We spent most of Saturday making our way up river, stopping at a couple of little bars, although they closed the bar we stopped at last year...they even took all the pictures off the walls! ;)
We got to Cincinnati early enough that we could check out a little of the baseball game going on at the Reds' stadium, wander around for an hour or so looking for our hotel, and finally get cleaned up and make our way downtown to find something to eat and track down the very-happening Fountain Square.
Check back later in the week...hopefully I'll have time to get the Dale Hollow pictures up before we take off on our next adventure!
